Core Strength Yoga will focus on both this physical and energetic space in the body. A strong core can help you free yourself from common injuries and ailments such as back pain. Our core is our physical center and is linked to the emotional and spiritual elements of life, therefore; a strong center can help cultivate strength and awareness beyond the mat.
Core Strength Yoga places a physical emphasis on the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. This class perfect for postnatal women and "graduates" of Mom and Baby Yoga. However, this class is open to any woman whether you have had a baby or not, or if it has been many years.

For pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters
Radiant Heart Yoga's prenatal yoga classes are designed especially for the mother-to-be and the pregnant body. Prenatal classes are infused with poses, breathing techniques, meditations, and affirmations to prepare, relax, and comfort the mom-to-be during her pregnancy and in preparation for childbirth and motherhood. Radiant Heart Yoga's prenatal classes include an emphasis on connecting with other expectant moms and prenatal education.

Radiant Heart Yoga is certified and teaches Mamaste Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga classes. You can be sure that you will receive safe postures and adjustments suited to your body and your pregnancy.
Classes are open to healthy pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. If you are not currently practicing yoga regularly, please refrain from starting classes until your 2nd trimester (12 weeks). If you have a history of miscarriage or have been through fertility treatments, it is recommended that you wait until 16 weeks to start a yoga practice. No prior yoga experience is necessary for prenatal yoga; classes are open to all levels and abilities.

Mom and Baby Yoga
For postpartum women with babies at least 6 weeks old.
Mom and Baby Yoga is a special yoga class designed especially for postpartum mothers where they can bring their baby to yoga class with them. Classes will include yoga poses for mom, babies incorporated into some yoga poses (i.e. on lap, on knees, on chest), baby play and songs.
There are two Mom and Baby Yoga classes: a class for moms with babies ages 6 weeks to crawling and a class for mobile babies 6 months- about 12 months.
As always, babies are welcome no matter the state (sleeping, awake, hungry, crying) or mood! We are a breastfeeding friendly studio.

Yoga + Play
For moms with children 6 months - 5 years old.
Yoga + Play is an ADULT yoga class that welcomes children! Mom will get an energizing flow yoga class while children play or join in practicing yoga. Please note, this class is not appropriate for pregnant women. Space is limited.
