Patricia ShermanPfeiffer and Nichole Churchill, moms and doulas with Chicago Volunteer Doulas, are facilitating a New Moms Group for women with babies 12 months and younger. This a 5- week discussion based group with a weekly theme and is an opportunity for new moms in the area to connect with other local moms, make new friends, learn about yourself and your baby. Weekly discussion topics will include:
~ Emotions of new motherhood and self-identity
~ Parenting issues and decisions (feeding, sleeping, childcare)
~ Time management and self-care
~ Relationships with baby, partner, family, and friends
*Babies are welcome to accompany you to the group*
